How I work

I enjoy working directly with clients to design and create bespoke pieces individual to them. I prefer to meet and discuss commissions, however we can of course discuss via phone, email or Skype. The initial consultation helps me to define your brief, budget and desired outcome. Once confirmed, a project brief is drawn up to include cost parameters and project timescales. The design, materials, cost and timescale will then be agreed to allow the crafting process to begin.

Whether you are looking for a built-in bespoke piece of furniture or a stand-alone piece, please get in touch if you’d like to discuss a potential project… however large or small.

1. Inspiration

Fascinated by wood and all its intricate properties, I find inspiration in the beautiful organic shapes that form, whether through the ancient art of woodturning or when crafting unique items of furniture. Further inspiration comes through the discussion process when listening to clients’ ideas and vision.

2. Visualising

I have a passion for handcrafting pieces of furniture with exceptional material and superior craftsmanship. Pieces that do justice to the materials used and will be appreciated for many years to come. I use the latest 3D CAD design software to help visualise your bespoke item, before turning it into a reality.

3. Crafting

I work closely alongside my clients to design custom pieces that are crafted using only the best, high quality materials, no matter the scale of the project. I maintain communication with you throughout the process, from the initial design stage, right through to delivering your bespoke item.
